Work Style

Learning is my passion inside and outside of work. I ask questions, seek challenges, and enjoy the insights I gain from the people I work with. My colleagues say I take a calm, analytical and methodical approach to my work.

What attracted you to Gradient?

In short, the people brought me to Gradient. Having previously worked alongside Cal, I knew firsthand the quality of people with whom I would be working. I have also always enjoyed working in and around the public and non-profit sectors.

Experience

I have almost a decade of experience in the Federal Government working in the United States House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant, IT Administrator and Deputy District Director. After leaving the House, I joined a small technology start-up taking on executive management roles in operations, information systems, security, and communications. I hold designations as a Certified Fraud Examiner from the ACFE and Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA. I am also a licensed Private Investigator in the state of Texas. Sixteen years of government and executive experience has given me a great deal of insight into how critical the integration of technology, data, and human nature are in developing comprehensive risk profile and governance systems.

Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.
